HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY/JUSTIN

Justin is 28 today! So I just wanted to take a minute to say Happy Birthday! I am so thankful for Justin and all he does and all he is here are just a few of the things we love about him.

Daddy throws me up in the air and gives me shoulder rides, hangs me upside down, he plays hide and seek, he reads to me and lets me stay up late. im so grateful that Daddy loves me and I love him too (Kennedy)

I love that he is such a great Daddy & Husband
I love that he has so many talents photography,wood working, cake decorating,great cook, fixing cars, he fixes all kinds of things around the house he is a great handy man, he plays the guitar, he sings, the list goes on and on he puts me to shame I call him my Martha he is amazing. Justin is the type of person that he tries something and is good at it the first try.

I love that Justin loves the gospel, he is very knowledgeable and teaches me new things all the time. He is an example to so many people.

I love that he is so patient with his crazy emotional wife.

I love that he is a little OCD :) he is very organized and helps keeps our house and lives in order.

Do all drains lead to the ocean?

Chloe has always been our curious and adventurous one and as she grows in age she grows in curiosity. Last night Kennedy went in to go to the bathroom and Chloe of course followed. It's common knowledge in our family that Kennedy thinks that she has to remove all clothing from the waist down to go to the bathroom. As Kennedy finished up and flushed the toilet Chloe picked up her favorite new Sleeping Beauty Panties and tossed them in. Of course 4 yr old panties are just the right size to go down the drain . As they disappeared forever into the West Jordan Sewer System Chloe Danced with glee at her new found discovery while Kennedy fell to the floor in anguish over the lost underwear. With counseling Kennedy has learned to cope with the tragedy and Chloe has been banned from the bathroom until further notice. So if all drains do lead to the ocean (as per Finding Nemo, one of Kennedy's favorite movies) then don't be surprised to see an ocean fish wearing a pair of Sleeping Beauty undergarments.

Dancing Queen

Kennedy has been in Dance this year and has really liked it. Although I think everyone that knows Kennedy knows that she is very shy, so she sometimes had a hard time going to dance even though every time I picked her up she loved every minute of it. The last two Saturdays she has had a dance recital one at Riverton High school and one last Saturday at the riverton park for the Riverton Arts festival, I really wasn't sure if she would go up on stage and perform but she did it! And she loved every second of it, she did so good I was so proud of her. I hate being in front of people so I am extremely proud of her for overcoming this, after the first recital a couple weeks ago she asked can I go up again and again. Justin sent me with one of his cameras, so I think I got some pretty cute pics but of course our card reader is packed and is in our storage unit somewhere. But these pics are pretty cute too.

Mixed Feelings

We are closing on our home tomorrow! We decided to stay with Justin's parents for a little while we figure out the buying a partnership of Swensen and all. We have so many mixed feelings. We have had some really fun times here and we will have a hard time not living nextdoor to the Thompsons and across the street from the Perschon's we have been so blessed to have such great friends here. Even though we have only lived here for a short time just over a year I know that we were supposed to be here if for no other reason for these great friends. We love you guys!!

On the other hand we are happy to go and stay with Justin's parents the girls ADORE Grandma and Grandpa Swain, they are so good to all of us. We are also excited because they live in the same neighborhood/ward that we just moved from a year ago so we have some friends over there we are excited to be close to again. Kennedy is excited to go to church with Kelsey and Ashley and play with them more.
